My day started at 6 am today, so needless to say, I got a lot of writing done. The ideas also came quite easily, of more than just what I've been working on.
I had a bit of a crash at 11am and had to nap it out but on the whole, it was a fruitful day. The tougher questions are easier to tackle in the first half.
I'm reading short stories at the same time, while Circe and they are refreshingly different with so much left unsaid, subtext in between the lines, it's astonishing. And they're not all boring, depressive - my (incorrect) perception - but can be sharp, witty and ingeniously creative. We can also explore povs within this manner.
I highly recommend Roald Dahl's short story collections.
