Why I Like Tarot

Tarot is a tool to understand the self.

Carl Jung, the father of modern analytical psychology, in conversations about tarot and the I ching described these practises as: “an intuitive method that has the purpose of understanding the flow of life, possibly even predicting future events, at all events lending itself to the reading of the conditions of the present moment.”

The tarot is a way to tap into your introspective powers in a deep way. When you look at a card or try to relate it to you own life, in an instant, you can see the bigger picture. You can analyse and examine what needs work, things you have been ignoring come to the fore.

It is a very non-invasive way of checking in with what you need, psychologically speaking. We already know the answers to how to solve the problems in our lives. When we ask a question of the tarot, the answer comes via the mind.
