Today was a sleepy day, though I had lots of tea. I spent some time ideating and have a good lead of how the character starts off. It's fun when I consider her as in my imagination as opposed to the 3 act structure, hero's journey and so on.
I guess it's good to have a balance probably, but just working with the mechanics of the book is quite uninspirational.
I'm glad I have a lot of time to read and keep myself inspired. That may just end up making all the difference in the world. It's good to have a light day in the middle, a bit of a break to have a tabula rasa or a clean plate to start with.
