Weekends are the cruellest days. High five if you get the reference.
Saturdays and Sundays are when I end up doing and taking creative writing courses. Needless to say I'm exhausted. I'm attending two workshops by Bound. So many many hours of writing, but it feels like i'm in school again in a good way.
It's nice to see and relate to people struggling in the same boat :P. On the other hand, it's good to know that these challenges are universal and there are ways to get around specific hurdles.
What's really insightful is that, when a writing instructor asks me to write down words to a prompt, yes at times I do freeze, but when I can complete it on my own time, the story flows from me, in a way unlike if it was just me and the computer. I hope to give this to those who study creative writing with me.
